Rukhsar's Scrumptious Lamb Shanks

Ingredients: 
  • Lamb shanks: 2 lbs 
  • Yogurt: 3 tbsp. 
  • Oil: 1 tsp 
  • Salt and pepper: to taste
  • Red chilli powder: 1 pinch 
  • Coriander powder: 1 tsp 
  • Five spice powder: ½ tsp 
  • Ginger garlic paste: 1 tsp 
  • Meat tenderizer: 1 tsp (can use raw papaya instead) 
  • Chopped onions: ¼ cup 
  • Green peas: ½ cup 
  • Potato (small pieces): 1 small 
  • Carrots (small pieces): 1 pc.   
Instructions:
  1. Mix ingredients 1-10 and marinate lamb for 48-72 hours 
  2. Place marinated lamb on baking sheet with vegetables. Cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil and bake at 380 degrees for 1 hour.
